Today is a big one.
Our founder's pricing ends at midnight tonight, and we've been ironing out the final touches of our agreement with manufacturing to be full steam ahead with production.
None of this happens without you. So before anything else: thank you.
Where this started
Baywood Lane began with a very unglamorous problem. Duvet covers are a pain. You know the routine: turn it inside out, find the corners, climb halfway inside it, shake, pray, repeat. It's such a production that most of us (me included) wash our duvet covers far less often than we should.
I kept thinking about my grandparents' homes, where the bedding always felt warm, fresh, and cared for. I wanted that feeling without the wrestling match. That idea turned into our patent-pending attach-and-detach cover, and eventually into the brand you've been following along with.
For a long time, it was just an idea, a few prototypes, and a lot of late nights. Then you showed up.
What your early support actually did
When you bought in at founder's pricing, you weren't just getting a deal. You were casting a vote. You were telling us, "Yes, this is a real problem, and yes, I want this fixed."
Every one of those orders helped us reach the point where placing a full production run made sense. Nearly 50 of you became founding members, and that number is the reason I could confidently hit "submit" today instead of hoping and guessing.
For a small brand, that kind of trust is everything. You believed in something you hadn't held in your hands yet. I don't take that lightly.
What happens next
Here's where things stand, honestly and plainly:
Production is underway. Our manufacturer is starting on our first run of duvet covers, inserts and shams sets.
Timeline: We're expecting orders to ship around December. If anything changes, you'll hear it from us first, not from a vague status page.
Founding members stay in the loop. You'll get behind-the-scenes updates as production moves along: fabric, samples, packaging, all of it. You were here first, so you get to see it first.
Founder's pricing closes tonight. After midnight, prices move to our regular retail price. If you've been on the fence, today's the last day to get in at the founding rate.
A quick note on what we're building
We're not trying to be the fanciest bedding brand or the cheapest one. We're trying to make bedding that fits into real life: easy to take off, easy to wash, easy to put back on, and made with materials we want to sleep in.
That means a bedroom that feels fresh more often, with a lot less effort. That's the whole point.

To everyone who ordered, shared a post, sent a message, or told a friend about the duvet cover that "just clips on": thank you. You turned an annoyance I couldn't stop thinking about into an actual product heading into production.
